I started this Blog in May 2010 as a way of recording my walking experiences. I have done quite a lot of walks over the years from which I am left with a jumble of vague memories and a pile of photographs which don’t make much sense. I felt I should try to do a better job by writing up accounts of my walks while they are still fresh in the mind.
The articles will be quite short as the main records will be “Photo Journeys” – photograph albums on Picasa with explanatory captions. Blog articles will usually contain a link to the relevant Photo Journey.
Although visitors are very welcome here, the blog is really just a personal record and is primarily intended to be read by myself, perhaps when reminiscing on winter nights.
